Shingle Replacement Notice
7/27/2022- Due to the rain yesterday, the crew was not able to complete all of building 5 and had to return today to complete it. There were no 4×8 sheets required on this building. This concludes the work for this project. We have started to complete a final clean-up as well as remove all equipment and extra materials. Over the next few days, we will get everything in order. We have requested the temporary toilets be picked up as well as the telehandler lift but are at the mercy of the company’s availability. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this project.
7/25/2022- Building 4 will be completed by the end of today leaving only building 5 remaining. Building 4 only had one 4×8 sheet of OSB replaced. Tomorrow building 5 will start and likely be completed. On Wednesday, July 27th a final cleaning and equipment removal will take place. This will conclude the roofing project.
7/22/2022- Even though the next three buildings are larger, the crews are looking like they will finish them in one long day. There was a total of six 4×8′ sheets of OSB replaced on this building. The crew will not be working over the weekend and will return Monday morning, July 25th to begin working on Building 4 and likely starting on building 5 Tuesday, the 26th all dates are weather permitting. Thank you and have a good weekend!
7/21/2022- As with building 1, the crew will be able to finish building 2 by the end of today. Building 2 had some deteriorated sheathing “roof decking” that needed to be replaced. There were a total of eight 4×8′ sheets of OSB installed to correct this. Building 1 only had one sheet.
The crew will begin working on Building 3 tomorrow. Given the last three buildings are a bit larger, they may take more than a day to complete.
7/20/2022- The crew showed up ready to go! Building 1 is moving along great and should be completed by the end of today. They will move on to building 2 tomorrow and will likely finish that one in a day as well. Please watch for the notices to be posted on your garage door and follow the directions to ensure the project can continue to move forward quickly. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this project.
An insurance claim for wind damage was approved for five of the seven buildings in the community. The roofs will be replaced as a result of this. The proposed start date is Wednesday, July 20th. The crew will start at building 1 (384-390). The work on the four home buildings is expected to take 2-3 working days with the larger eight home buildings are expected to take 3-4 working days. The crew will work numerically through the community per the map.
Paper notices will be posted on garage doors a day before the crew will start working on your building.
